Introduction Cloud storage in cloud computing
In this article today learn what is cloud storage in
cloud computing. So let's start a what is cloud storage. cloud. So not the
clouds in the sky, but the virtual clouds that might be virtual to us.
But no so virtual
to the companies that host them. As there are servers for these things.
So, ill be honest
with you guys, when I first heard about the cloud a few years ago, I really
thought people were talking about the clouds in the sky. I was like, how is
there information stored in the sky? Are there like massive buildings, that
like, go up to the sky and like, there’s servers and stuff like that?
I was genuinely
puzzled, so, this is kinda why we’re doing this video. Although you know, I
understand what it is, but there seems to be a lot of confusion regarding what
the cloud is, what it does, how to access it, and some of the current options
to date. So without further delay, let's go ahead and get talking about the
cloud. By definition, according to Wikipedia, Cloud storage is a model of data
storage where the digital data is stored in logical pools, the physical storage
spans multiple servers, and the physical environment is typically owned and
managed by a hosting company.
Define cloud storage in cloud computing:
Cloud storage is a service model in
which data is transmitted and stored on remote storage systems, where it is
maintained, managed, backed up and made available to users over a
network (typically the internet). Users generally pay for their cloud data
storage on a per-consumption, monthly rate. Although the per-gigabyte cost has
been radically driven down, cloud storage providers have added
operating expenses that can make the technology considerably more expensive to
use. The security of cloud storage services continues to be a concern among
users. Service providers have tried to allay those fears by enhancing their
security capabilities by incorporating data encryption, multi-factor authentication , and improved physical security into their services. Follow the link visit and
